Flash your Stash!

Who knew stashtography can be so much fun? But hard too! After I took the pictures, I now want to do an inventory (I’ll be up all night. Anyone from Europe wants to chat?) of all my stuff, plus many skeins need to be wound, so I need to do that before I put them away, don’t I? and the hardest part is wanting to start new projects with yarn I forgot I have. There. I said it. I was not sure I’ll be brave enough to admit it, but it is true. You all know what I mean. Yes, you too!
So here goes. (Click it to see details...)

Now for some highlights: ( I got the idea from Yarn Bug)

yummie or what?

assorted natural alpacas

Yes mary, I have some Diakeito... (10)

who are you people, I mean skeins, and how did you get in?

all the Noros wanted a photo together, and so of course, the Koigu did too.

Oh my! You people are gonna make me have a heart attack so early this morning. Whose idea was this, to flash your stash? I swear I'm gonna put myself on a blog diet because I so cant handle this. i was thinking of inventorying all my yarn since I hit that score the other day, and I got overwhelmed just cataloging my recent purchase. Ugh. hats off to all you flash your stash participants. I could never be so brave.

Oh, the enormity - especially from the overhead shot! And I see we do, indeed, have the same taste in rugs :-}

Yes, under that calm and collected exterior lurks a frenzied yarnstashing nutso Noro sniffing cross-skein addicted white-jacket-with-extralong-sleeves knitter! Niiiiice stash, lady.

HOLY CRAP! That's a lot of yarn. But I spose if I pulled my own and layed it out, it would cover my living room. In other words, HEAVEN! Don't you just love rediscovering yarn?

That is a good lookin' stash... I am always impressed by those who can keep them in clear plastic bags.

Yeah! You got a fan from overseas too. Very impressive! Now that feels like a very orderly stash. Mine is a mess! Im also stocked up on Noro, and Kogiou is not available here (in Sweden)... so I agree with all other 10! comments, WOW! Impressive!. Hmm And very inspiring! I wish I had more of those plastic bags, they look great!

Wow! I am very, very impressed! This I have to show my husband. For some time now he has been mumbling when I got me some new yarn. Can't really understand what he means, can I?
I haven't been knitting for so long so my stash isn't nearly 1/4 as big as yours, but I sure hope it will be! And all that Noro and Koigu too, I haven't even seen it in real life yet...

Oh my ! I'm jealous when I see all your skeins of Noro (Here in Belgium, it's quite difficult to find it).

I like your blog... I'll be back :-)))
