One year blogiversary!

Tomorrow will be my one year blogiversay! I find it amazing that:
  1. I have been blogging for a year. Wow.
  2. That I had a life before the blog...
  3. How many patterns I have downloaded as a result of my blog hopping.
  4. How many wonderful places to buy yarn I have been finding online.
  5. How great it is to "meet" the global knitting community. Who knew?
So, to celebrate all of you my wonderful global knitting community, I had no choice but to buy this, soon to be a collector item, Sweet Georgia in Rain Forest .

Hey, happy actual blogiversary! In answer to your comment/question about the Millicent knee-highs (blogger won't reveal your email address to me...) No, they're not slippery, as there is loads of ribbing, and the pattern has every conceivable combination of sizing to make it fit well... It looks awfully funny off the leg, but I'll post a modeled shot when I get them both done... Which should be disgustingly soon, I hope; I don't "work" out of the home, and I don't have many other hobbies. Add in a touch of ADHD, and you've got one speedy knitter!
Email me "for real" sometime, if you like, so I can answer your comments - you leave so many nice ones! :)

Thanks for your best wishes for my brother's recovery. As for the Seafoam scarf, I used only one skein of sock yarn--that would have been sufficient for one sock. The seafoam stitch is in the Barbara Walker book and is great fun to knit!msy6811

Happy blogiversary! Love the colours of your celebration yarn. It is spring in fibers.

Happy Blogiversary and kudos on the handspun! Check out the Calorimetry headband pattern on Knitty for another good way to use up small bits of handspun. I predict there may be a wheel in your future....;) Here's to another year of excellent knitting, beautiful pics and more spinning!
