Gentleman's Fancy Sock by Nancy Bush
Needles: Addi US 1 / 2.5 mm
Yarn: Zitron Trekking (XXL)
Colorway: 146
Almost all of 1 skeins = my skein was only 94g out of the promised 100g, not sure why.
I knit them longer (love) and no pattern at the foot.
I don't like how it bulks up the sock in the shoe.
Bottom line: Happy Feet!!!

I made these socks for my hubby, and I loved this pattern, but you're right - they are bulky in a shoe. I love the idea of keeping the foot plain. Next time...
I love these socks! Since I only wear handmade socks around the house, I wouldn't have noticed that it was too bulky for shoes.
Looking good! Good to get a warning about bulky....but they look just fine and dandy on ya!
What a nice job - pretty socks! And I'm all about no patterning on the foot, too!
(((hugs)))
LOVE the color. Ahh, nothing quite like a new pair of socks!
the weight of the yarn is at 'standard' humidity.. (i am presuming the skein said 100 gm and not 94 gm)
NY apartments tend to be extremely dry. (often less than 10%) this could dry out the wool.. water is heavy..
The socks look great - and I just love the colours in that yarn :-)
Cute! And I agree with the foot bulk, I like a plain foot and a crazy cuff.
I have also knitted with trekking xxl.I think the colours are great. Yours look a bit like noro yarn.
I LOVE this ones, but not only that, also the picture is great, so spring, so ... déjeuner sur l'herbe!
Lovely!!
Great socks. Trekking XXL makes for a good pair of socks.
