FO

Just a few little things to keep me busy while I do more "important" things, like worry...
Simple socks for my son. knit with the Austermann Step I made the fingerless gloves from, last year. This time I knit them much bigger... Lets see how long that lasts… Top down. 56 sts. 6/2 rib. 2 on 2 circs. One skein only, for gloves and socks.

A little neck warmer from the malabrigo left over from the Koolhaas hat.the first neck warmer of 2008. its still in! left over malabrigo from the koolhaas hat. its 4" by 12" when slightly stretched. it needs an icord and a button decision.
the stitch is a Smocking Stitch, as seen here.

ah is that what it is called. I made a whole cardigan with that stitch: and I understand why it is called that way: it is very elastic!

What a cool stitch! Hope whatever you're worried about gets resolved quickly and positively.

gloves are stunning as are the socks - I like the middle two buttons if that helps :-)

Beautiful neckwarmer! If you're soliciting opinions on the button decision, I vote for the oval-shaped one, second from the right. :)

Oh I LOVE that neckwarmer! Why didn't I think of making something so chic? (Probably because it doesn't stay cold long enough here to change clothes - if you do, it's suddenly humid and stuffy, and then suddenly it's freezing again.) And a lovely stitch choice too.
