kim hargreaves- pin stripe

kim hargreaves- pin stripe from Rowan Book # 12. Knit in Knit Picks Wool of the Andes "stream" on Addi circs us5. See the inspiration here. It was a very nice knit. I started it for Project Spectrum in March, and it was in my knitting basket by the sofa ready to be my TV knitting when serious concentration was not needed. I still need to get buttons. No matter how many I have in my button stash, the "right" ones are not in there. Does that happen to you? It took 3 days to dry while blocking- it has been unbelievably humid here in NYC. I can see this being my snuggle up cardi once the weather gets cooler. And it will. Something to look forward to.

It does look perfectly snuggly. And that color is beautiful on you.

I've been thinking of you and my other NYC knitters -- did you survive the deluge?

What a perfect wear-every-day-in-cold-weather sweater!! Great color, great classic style. Yes, I know about the buttons. I have hundreds (thousands?) of buttons in cans and NONE are ever right for a project.

what a beautiful sweater! Now all you need is a winter afternoon, a cup of tea, and a good book.

Your sweater knitted up loverly! Such a great fit, and now the wait to wear it. It'll be here before we know it.

I posted a public thank you for my socks, which I still love, love, love. As do my daughters, but only one of them could wear them, and those are her favorite colors. I have sequestered them to a safe spot. Have you received your package yet?

Hey,
I'm the first time on your blog and I like it very much. The cardi is wonderful, so classic - and the colour is really beautiful. Congratulations!
I also like your Tweed Tea Cosy, it's artificial.
This wasn't my last visit to your blog, I've added yours to my link-list.
Keep on knitting. Greetings from Germany
Susanne
