This photograph was taken with the camera held in my hand at the time the photo was taken. A little NYC magic! It is a wonderful little court yard in the heart of midtown. A great place to escape the heat and sit and knit for a little while, if you have time. Especially lovely with some ice tea or ice coffee in the summer... Get it?

Magic it is! My brain is struggling with the concept of 'escaping from the heat' though! I am about to grab a HOT coffee - the wind is wild here today, up at 450ft up 'on the hill'! Good picture.
What a beautiful picture - it looks so idyllic :-)

What a pretty spot! I can't believe that's in midtown, seems so serene.
Oh, beautiful, looks so tranquil.
See this is why you Rock - you have the coolest, loveliest photos and are slowing but surely giving us the best tour of NY and lovely knitting to boot!
Great shot - would never have guesse it was a self portrait!
Dang! And thanks!
Simply wonderful - both the image and the place. It's lovely to have little niches of serenity tucked away in the hustle and bustle of the city!
Oh, just the place I need! Parks are so essential for the soul and for the body. And, cafes in park like settings are essential for the tummy, soul and body. Have a good time sipping iced tea!
You looks so calm and serene, hard to believe you are in NYC
Wow! What a gorgeous picture of you!
That spot looks amazing. I always think of NYC as full of skyscrapers and you forget there are so many green spaces dotted about.
