Moving right along

The weekend was full of fiber. Sheep-sheering and spinning. I did my first Andean plying. Woohoo! I got a 2ply. Well- guess what- I need to learn to spin thinner, so I will not end up with rope. I also joined Sockapalooza 4 and I have my pal's info!! I am working hard on my knitting group's sock exchange, due May 5th. Sockapalooza 4 is not due till August. Phew! Sorry, can't chat now. Back to my socks!

And here is spring on Park Ave NYC:

Spinning master already! I now, thinner is better! Im also in the "rope" spinning area... it looks thing, then when plyed it just grows. It would be GREAT to pass NY and visit you, that is for sure! I so hope it works out. Hugs, Sigri

What a great photo of you! You look soooo happy!
And the pink flowers are wonderful. Sadly we're losing our "spring" - it's been summer the past two days (hot, sticky) and is going back to drizzly fall for the weekend!
(((hugs)))

Ah, spring in NYC. Wonderful!! I'm impressed with the spinning and the beautiful pink blossoms. We in Wisconsin have a hard time believing that green and flowers grow in the BIG CITY.

A great weekend is always the best start into a new week and it sounds as if you had an excellent weekend, the picture of your big smile tells it all, I love it!

Spinning is just the most exciting thrill! I learned how to spin in the 70's because I was a weaver. Then I learned how to knit in the 80's because I was a spinner! Mostly I am an artist and can use yarn for lots of things!

I found your blog via flickr and am enjoying it.
