This is what my yarn is doing today. it was great fun to knit. I could not stop- I kept wanting to see what's next. can one be in love with one's first hand spun hat............? I am going to sleep with it on my head tonight. its definitely cold enough! its lined with knitpicks Ambrosia (80% Baby Alpaca, 20% Cashmere) in color grass. I also used a bit on top, since I ran out of yarn.

Beautiful! And very you!
Ah, it looks so good. I really like the lining - a good touch! Very nice work.
Well that was indeed a fast turn-around. Love this hat!
Your handspun knitting looks great. I like the colors and textures.
Perfect project for your first handspun!
So awesome! What great yarn and a great hat! :)
It looks great and the lining really sets it off.
Fantastic and oh yes it is a most special love you have for your first handspun garment :)
What an accomplishment -- to go from fiber to FO. And gorgeous to boot!
Wonderful hat.
What a wonderful cozy hat for you to wear with pride!! Some day I will start spinning--I've been holding out because I fear it will take away from my precious knitting time. Thanks for your praise for my blankets. I must say that both turned out better than I ever thought--and I had high hopes for each!!
Amazing! Wow, fantastic. Spun and knitted like a dream. Do not take it off! Really beautiful. Really!
Very nice done!
I'd love to see but at the moment blogger isn't letting me open the images will come back and check later :)
Gorgeous!!
That is lovely! And handspun, what a rock star you are! I think it is a-okay to be in love.
Beautiful hat! Cool lining!
I think you and I are just about in the same place with our spinning. I can totally relate to how you feel about that hat. The soft band you put on the inside makes it really special. Beautiful!
Also, the photos in the previous post are exquisite!
What a great hat! What a treat it must be to have made it with your own handspun :-)
Wow! It's g r e a t!!!! Knitting with your own hand-spun yarn! Tich luxury!
Such a beautiful hat! I'll have to try homespun yarn next ... it looks so interesting.
Love the lining--yummy cashmere on the skin, totally rockin' handspun on the outside. 4/13 was a lucky day!
VERY cool! Congrats!
(((hugs)))
Congrats on your first hand spun/knit object! It is really beautiful.
That looks so warm and cozy! I'd sleep with it on, too! You done good.
Your handspun hat is amazing! Gorgeous colors, and I love the solution for running out of yarn at the top. Nice work!!
Liking it alot! The lining also adds a little 'something'. I am trying to work out how to line a pretty pair of mitts that are too 'airy'!
It is SO SO pretty! You should be so proud :)
wow that's turned out really well.
