Talk about weird…

This is not suppose to happen in January:
The grass is GREEN.
The bulbs are popping
The Forsythia is out.
The buds are popping.
All over the world they are talking about snowless December. The first December in NYC without a snowflake here since 1877, (although not in Colorado...)
Ok, I know this is not politically correct, and I do love snow fun (although not the urban mess it becomes a day later) but I don't mind a mild winter. So there, I said it.

Yepp, it is weird in Sweden to. Green grass, and without the snow it is so dark. The snow really makes it lighter. I miss it. But I had no idea that New York was so snowy for winter. Great FOrsythia!

That is crazy. I'm here in San Fran with Jersey Boys, and I am MISSING Brooklyn. I wonder what the heck is going on in my garden? Crazy world. I hope you get your snow.

No Forsythia in sight - yet. But I do have to check the one in my neighbours garden tomorrow, just to be sure. I sure hope for no snow in my part of the world. I'm more a spring person and love to look out for every new sign of spring that shows up.

There are reasons I live in Portland (Oregon, that is). It may rain here - often and at length - but to date I have never had to shovel rain. The snow stays up in the mountains where it belongs.

It's unseasonably warm in the UK too, it's so strange to see things flowering that shouldn't be. I have to say that I'm a big fan of snow, I lived in Austria for a short while and I miss it

It's a warm and weird winter here as well. I miss the snow and the frost :-)
