First FO of 2007! Neck wrap Twister. This is Rain's fab creation, she calls it Twister,
Candy Wrapper style, only this one is shorter for a little something around the neck. Its hasn't been much of a winter here, so a scarf can be a bit bulky.
The Yarn is from stash. A wonderful yarn I have had for years!
Its Esperanza yarn, from Schaefer Yarn, 70% lambswool, 30% alpaca, in the Memorable Women collection, but this one is old- the color is called Lucille Ball.
It feels so buttery and warm. I did not want to take it off last night after I finished it. I have seriously warmed up to the idea of neck warmers/wrappers, inspired by cosymakes' knits for your neck , and you'll see a bunch more soon, right here.

What a very cool idea! It's the more fashionable version of a "dickey."
It would look really nice in some luxury yarn, to wear on a chilly evening out, like yarn-jewelry...
Very nice -- I bet it feels absolutely wonderful. And what a great colour on you!!
Yep, great colour on you! looks fab. Knitted in a day? that is amazing. But what is a "dickey"?
Cool.
I love how it looks like a candywrapper! Great idea for a smaller skein project (I have one in mind...)
LOVE it! Great idea...and the color is FAB on you!
(((hugs)))
That looks fab - I know what you mean about a longer scarf being a bit much, I love the shorter version. The colour is very cheery and looks great on you
Now that is a lovely little warmer. And you do look so pretty.
It looks great - the colour really suits you. A shorter length is definitely more appealing in the milder weather.
Beautiful - great photos of you too!
now that's absolutely smashing! gorgeous!
The Twister looks very good on you :-)
What a cute little neckwarmer, just enough but not too much. I agree sometimes a scarf can be a bit overwhelming when the weather isn't too cold.
You made so many beautiful knits in 2006, I really like Bradshaw, it's such a cool cardigan.
that is so incredibly cute! great colour! thanks for the pattern link - i think i will have to try this one for myself!
Very nice, it looks great on! I love the yarn shade name too :)
