Its a match!

Thanks everybody for your kind words about Bradshow! I do LOVE comments. Bradshow is very handy as the cold burst in on us in NYC. [Last Friday the temperature was 64ºf ( 16ºc) today it was 22ºf (-6 °c).] I am working on a mini-me similar "something".
Here is what else slipped off the needles recently:I could not find a simple pattern for kids, so I just sort of guesstimated a smaller version of my regular top down simple sock, and it worked. Its the first time I just set out to knit socks without instructions. I figured, they are small enough, if I have to frog, I could live with that... Next time I will make the heel flap longer though. But that is not the end of this wonderful Regia yarn, gifted to me in London by Ingrid. There is more to come...

I love this particular Regia colourway so much- Sylt Colour is the one colourway I go back to again and again. I have knit it into socks, mittens, 6 ply socks........ and I always have a ball at hand because it is one of my most favourite colour combinations. :)

Love your Bradshaw! Lovely colours for a great design.
Sure Regia is a great yarn! Not only to knit socks in though I haven't done bigger knits in it. But Regia has also patterns for baby cardigans, grown up sweaters, shawls and so on as well as for faster knits like for example mittens, hats and key holders.
Guess your son is really happy about his socks!

Great picture as always. I luve your bunny, and matching socks! That is a hit. SYLT? you know that means "jam" in Swedish? Interesting. Regia is great for socks. Durable, wearable. washable. And I lauged at "guesstimate", that is exactly what I do.. with variying results. Haha good word!

Is there anything cuter than little feet and PJs? Great job, mom!

Oh that is great! Looks like your pattern worked just perfectly. For a very basic kid's sock pattern try Knitting Pure & Simple Easy Children's Light Weight Socks. I think I got mine at Purl, and probably easy to find online....

How smart of you. I am very pattern dependent....working without a pattern makes me shiver.
