Priceless (confessions of a yarn groupie)

Kaffe Fassett's Pattern Library= $35 at Knitty City.
2 skeins of Regia Kaffe Fassett Landscape Twilight= $18

Meeting your knitting guru in person, wearing a sweater you knit from his first book, surprising him with a glove knit with his sock yarn, and having him sign your copy of his book=
PRICELESS!!

Thanks Erin (Minty) for the awesome pics!!

Wow - I'll bet that really made your day! He looks as if he was really friendly from the photos - what was he like? Love your sweater as well BTW!

ahem...I have to contest the 'greatest fan' title... :)

How cool that must have been for you!!!!!!! I'm going to see him at the end of November and I've been dithering about whether or not to bring my coat (also from Glorious Knitting)..... I'm almost convinced by your pics and story. (now just have to convince my friend who will have to wear it - as it needs a tallllll frame!)

Hila that is perfect! I have been waiting for an opportunity to meet the man, the genius myself - I guess I need to make a sweater and make the gloves and make it happen. Love it!

I am speechless, the sweater is gorgeous and he must have been thrilled. You did so much better than me, I had my book signed by him at the Festival of Quilts this year and all I could do was smile and not manage to utter one word! He rather takes my breath away....
