A job fit for super heroes

A minor stash enhancement calls for super heroes to help with the swifter action.
The KnitPicks alpaca Decadence is for a Lopi sweater for my son. The Lopi yarn is too scratchy for him. Main color will be the green. (from The Best of Lopi).

Wow, that's a lot of winding going on. I love the sweater you're making for your son.

Woo hoo -- action heroes to the rescue!! I love Lopi-like, yoke-type sweaters -- they're so classic. Great colours there!

Yummy! I love the colors...and the sweater will be gorgeous...thanks for stopping by my blog - Folk Shawls is great as a start to lace, and the Lacy Prairie Shawl would be a good starting point. If you can do this sweater you can do lace!
(((hugs)))

Lots of winding to do! The decadence looks like a nice non-scratchy choice for a sweater. Can't wait to see it come together!

Gotta love the yoked sweaters for the tots. A lot of yarns are too scratchy for my son too.
A lot of the times I let him help by cranking the ball winder a few times.

Great photos - nice knitting - yummy stash!! Don't you just love to wind yarn or am I the only one who likes it in neat little balls begging to be knit into some lovely FO.

Thanks for visiting my blog - the clogs are the Fiber Trends Clogs pattern. Great fun and easy to knit, more fun to felt and comfy on my feet right now :-)

I'll be in NY (Monticello) visiting Mom next month. Can you knit up some cool weather and nice leaves, please?

If that is a minor stash enhancement I would hate to see a major one ;) Love the swift in action, I am trying to track one down here in Australia that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

So glad that you found me (again) and for your lovely comments :)

that is a whole lot of fabulous fiber!! I'm also knitting a lopi-sweater for my son! The alpaca should be perfect for one of those!

That jumper is just the sort of thing I'd love to make for Charles but I'm scared stiff of using more than one colour at a time. I think lace has got to be easier in some respects. I really like the colours you've chosen.

It was so great to meet you Sunday. I'm spinning my little head off today. Later I'm gonna dye it and dry it on the roof. Love you're blog, I'm going to add a link on my blog to you.

I saw your comment about trekking entrelac - lady eleanor on Eunnie's blog. I started one which is definitely scarf sized on sz 2 needles. It's on my blog if you'd like to take a peak. I experimented with sz 3s, and it made a significant difference. No pictures of that one, yet, but I can tell you that doing 5 base triangles on three gave me the same width as 7 base triangles on sz 2s. Can't wait to see yours!
