Once upon a time there was winter, and in the winter of the North East it used to snow. This winter there was but one little dusting in NYC. Some people blame
global warming. I love snow in the country-side, its so
pretty and
majestic, but in an urban setting- only on the weekend, or holidays. Otherwise it turns to slush/dirt/messy city. Don't get me wrong, it can be pretty in
the city as well, but- only for a minute . So for the lack of snow here this year, I thought out some flakes. I loved the
snow flake sweater in IK Holiday Gifts, (that issue had some fab deigns, don't you think? Think
Koolhaas) and when I saw the chart was 18 stitches across- my mind thought18x2=36 half of 72, great sock numbers! I loved the colors and that was it! Koigu Addi us1- 2 on 2.
